F**k the statists...

ok....

Well, I have to say I am pretty well pissed off.

It normally takes alot for me, but really?

The UAW is set to get aroud 7-8k in bonuses this year. Seriously.

And since this is a leap year and Christmas is on a Tuesday....the POTUS has declered that Monday is a federal holiday and every gov't worker gets pid to not show up for work. I am a contractor and since the gov't isn't going to be there....I am not allowed to go to work on monday. This results in a net loss of 10 hours of work. I am not going to go into the details, but since whatever work I do is not designated as so important that it can't wait until the 26th, I lose 10 hours of work. I have no leave time. And not because I am a leave takin sonufabitch, I just happen to be in that category of folks that don't get any actual leave until the end of Februaury. So I have to take leave without pay.

Now since I am on a work schedule where I am supposed to work 4 10 hour days next week, I lose 10 hours, because I have to take leave without pay for Monday. And on top of that, despite that my schedule is 10 hour days, I only get paid for 8 hours of holiday pay for Christmas, I lose another 2 hours there...that's 12 hours of pay I have to lose in one week. I'm a bit po'd about that., but seriously, Once every 5-6 years I shouldn't be upset right? Except with the "fiscal cliff" looming, there was speculation that the gov't might not do this....yeash right. The current POTUS loves nothing more than to spend money we don't have...and God forbid he break tradition...jus' sayin. If he had, he may have taken some flak, but would have gained a little bit of cred from the people that hate him already...and not because he's some kind of partially black/arab/white guy....just sayin.

I expected it, but there were so many folks that didn't think it would happen, what with the precarious financial situation our gov't is in....I was right and they were wrong. Big fucking surprise there.

So in the meantime, I am wondering what is in store for me come Jan. 6th. Sequestration is likely to happen because that is EXACTLY what his holiness(BHO) wants. I can't believe that Americans turned out for this charlatan again in the numbers they did unless they want the same BS commie state he does. And that saddens me.

I know that our public school system has failed in teaching the important concepts that made us who we used to be. I no longer cling to the idea of statism in any form, but for those that do even a little bit...for the constitutionalists out there...For the rugged individualists out there, do you really want to to be ruled? George Washington gave up that opportunity because he believed in what this nation of individuals could achieve...and look where we are now....disgraceful.

I could go on until the cows come home but I won't. I doubt anyone even peruses my blog anymore, but I needed to vent this, and if there are any truly liberty minded idividuals out there that wish to have a conversation...leave a comment and I promise you I will respond.

In the meantime, Keep your powder dry and die with your boots on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep your powder dry...

Ok...so, we have been inundated with reports concerning the shooting in CT.

I mourn for the families who lost their loved ones. I think this is a serious tragedy. Serious.

A whole lot of innocent people died for no good reason. A madman ended their existance. I can now call him a kid as he was about 20 years old, but he acted as an adult. He even killed himself .

The kid was mentally screwed up. There's no doubt about it. He was an introvert with some serious anger managemnet pronblems. Apparently, his mom was trying to see him through this and didn'y get him the help he actually needed. As a result, he murdered his mom....putting almost a dozen rounds in her head and adfter stealing her weapons, committing murder and stealing her car, he headed for an elementary school, where he forced his way in and murdered 26-27 people, adults and children, for what purpose? We still don't know. We may never know.

The media and our politicians think that banning weapons is the answer...actually they don't, it just fits into their agenda. The mass of people that are buying this line of bull is far too high for me to believe these are American citizens.

What happened to rugged individuality? What happened to us blaming the perpetrator and not society at large?

Facts be damned, it is factual that anywhere that draconian gun control has been implemetnted, massive casualties are the result. In areas where trained gunowners are carrying legally, crime...including this sort of nonsense are almost non-existent.

So why are we punishing normal, law abiding citizens for a massacre perpetrated by a madman? Because it plays into the hands of the communists. and I realize that may be a bold statement, but there are kids in this country now that don't even know the definition of communism.

There are voting age people who don't remember the fall of the iron curtain.

And they aren't teaching any of this to the kids in school now. They not only don't remember it, but they haven't been taught it. They are completely clueless.

Communism used to be a very dirty word, now...well, alot of people don't even really know what communism has done to those that adopted it in history. And they think that it is ok, because they haven't seen or been educated to it's outcome...EVERY SINGLE TIME IT HAS BEEN TRIED.

So, as I see it, we don't have many options. for one, when they do declare martial law and try to take our guns, there will be resistance. As well, there ought to be. We are not England, or any other European country. We are America. And what this country was founded on has been displaced by a creeping socialism brought on by political correctness and a desire to be more like the "enlightened" Europeans.

This country is/was the last best hope for freedom, and what our founders left us with was a recipe for that. They warned us of the dangers and we ignored it. We have as a populace embraced the socialist ideal and now we freedom lovers are in the minority.

When the gov't comes for our arms and we refuse, we will be labeled as terrorists and enemies of the state. When those who choose to fight do so, they will also be labeled enemies of the state. And the vast majority will agree because they are sheep. What we face now is far worse than our founders faced when they declared independence and faced down the greatest military on earth. We have allowed ourselves to become pussified to the extent that there is no possible way for a true revolution to succeed. And there is no place left on earth for us to turn. There is no frontier to make our own destiny on. Nowhere in the world does such a place exist.

Unless, we discover some way to colonize another planet, we are doomed. And I'm pretty well sure the technology isn't there for us to move away and stake our claim as free men/women.

So waht lies ahead for us? I can say this much...there will be bloodshed when they come after us. They will use all the power of the state to try and subjugate us. The only possible thing we have going for us is a true, SHTF scenario where all the infrastructure breaks down, and even then, there is no definite positive outcome.

I will leave you all with one last thought. And that is...as long as we maintain a spark of freedom and the concept of it in our offspring, the idea will not die. We may have to go underground for awhile, but as long as we can educate our children properly, the spark will not die and no matter the outcome of martial law/civil war, as long as there is one person left with that spark...there is always hope.

In the meantime, keep your powder dry and die with your boots on my friends!

Scouts out!

Ramblings....

Well, I felt compelled to post something, so here I go....

I've realized that true to Obama's promise, the only thing I have to rely on right now is Hope and Change...

Change is constant. Things happen, roll with it.

Hope...well, due to the congresscritters and the newly re-elected POTUS, I can only hope I will still have a job after sequestration hits.

At this point I am beyond caring. They'll come up with some quick fix to keep the .gov running, they always do, but at what cost?

Eh. I don't really care about that either. At this point it's pretty obvious we're all screwed. Not just the US but everyone. Things are about to get ugly in these United States as well as the rest of the world. If the recent spate of petitions for secession are any indication, the people are prety well pissed off. The Media seems to not care and continues to tow the socialist party line. It's quite telling when Rush Limbaugh sounds more like a Libertarian than a Republican...just sayin.

I don't expect the world to end on the 21st of December....but I will be in good company if it does ( 2 horses, 3 dogs and 4 cats...oh and a couple of Axolotls)

I like my job. I don't make bank or anything, but I enjoy the people I work with and my boss is a pretty hands off type and I have practically ZERO micromanagement. Which suits me just fine thank you. I have opportunities to move and take on different responsibilities, but I am just not really inclined to do so at this time.

My co-worker and I have a running deal that since things are working so well for us, if one of us leaves, the other one will too. hehe.

I've had awesome jobs in the past and hoped that they would cntinue to stay that way, but change is inevitable. Randall (RIP) was probably my collest boss ever. He was, bar none one of my best friends and I respected him more than most people that have been in my life. But as time goes on, the world about us changes and we must change with it.

For the last several years I have been chadsing my past looking for hope and salvation in the past. I realized, the hard way, that this is absurd. You can never go back. ever.

I cherish my friendships I've managed to maintain for the long years, but my life is different now. I have come to realize that I need to accept the future and move forward and not pine for relics of the past.

If the .gov decides it is their best interest to cut my job, then so be it. For the time being I am going to continue to do what I do with due diligence and if I get let go (again) well, I will make that hurdle when it comes.

I have an amazing support network and I have a really awesome girlfriend. She's very pragmatic which is rather refreshing. She's open minded and is willing to learn new things. Not a gold-digger and not chasing rainbows. I'm very fortunate.

I guess I don't have much more tonight. I have been composing a new post in my head for days, but for some reason it isn't ready yet. I actually have alot to say, but I am going to be very particular about what i say when it is really important.

This is kind of a stream of conciousness post. Which is ok too. I just needed to say something since i have been so silent for so long.

In the meantime, for those of you that actually read this....Keep your powder dry and die with your boots on!

Y'know...I haven't been nearly as prolific as I ought to be the last year or so.

That is because I have not had nearly as much to say.

Hopefully soon that will change. I have alot more to say and when  I have the time, I will be saying a whole lot more!

Who won the debate tonight?

I've abandoned the current political system. However...

Who won...Romney. Hands down.
But the old sad tired narrative of government making things right....it's a lie.
doesn't matter if they have an R or a D next to their name. They are all politicians and to them it is a career. It is a path to power. And if you aren't a member of the club, well...just have some more entertainment and some more free stuff and we'll take care of your worries so you don't have to.

Not.

The answer though to who really won...as I read on FB. And I have to agree.

The IRS.

I have chosen to abstain form voting. I know there are those of you out there that still buy into the belief that it's our civic duty to vote. But quite frankly, the popular vote does nothing. All it does is make us serfs feel like we have a say. The president is not elected by the popular vote. My vote means absolutely nothing.

I think Americans are beginning to wake up and understand this. At tleast the ones with half a brain in their head. We don't have freedom. We don't have liberty. And voting will not change this.

If Obama wins this election I think we'll see the culmination of tyrrany much quicker than with Romney. I really don't have faith in either one of them, although Romney did talk a really good game tonight. He said what alot of conservatives wanted to hear. He spoke of lower taxes and states rights.
He spoke about the constitution...and quite frankly he showed off his ability to completely dumbfound the idiot in chief with his business acumen...since Obama has none and could not speak intelligently about it without his teleprompter and a speech written by someone else.

I'm not so sure that we're gonna be able to live in a Jeffersonian version of the US. I think that until people can at least agree on the principles that the country was founded on, we'll never see it. The constitution may be a flawd document, but it is a far cry better than damn near anything else anyone has come up with.

The problem is that freedom and liberty are not priveleges. They are inherent rights of the individual. And the Government is an entity that by it's very nature is the antithesis of liberty. Until we can come to terms with that as a nation. We are doomed as a country. Personally I don't much care anymore.
I know many people who are vistims of a failed economy as a result of Government intervention. I also happen to be one, but I am not a victim so much as I was an ignorant but willing participant in my own hardships. I am no longer ignorant. And although I will pay dearly for my mistakes in the past, I will not fall prey to those same pitfalls laid for me again.

Liberty and freedom are not granted folks. And if we are to believe that these concepts have value and meaning, if we believe that these values are righteous, then we must stand up for them. And if necessary fight for them. I am not advocating for war or terrorism. Terrorism is the tool of cowards.
War is the tool of the state. both aim to subjugate the masses.

Do you really think that either one of these men who stood face to face and debated issues like jobs, the economy, healthcare...do you really think they give a damn about your liberty? Obama seeks to transform us into a third world nation. Romney seeks to keep things stable. Neither proposes to actually shrink gov't even to it's original intended purpose.

No, as far as debates go, Romney "won". However in the end. It wasn't Obama that lost the debate. It was the Americans who love liberty. Because really. Not all Americans today can honestly say that they do love liberty. They happily sell their souls to the highest bidder. More free stuff for me! No they are willing slaves.

And although Romney paid lipservice to individual choices and gave the impression of advocating less gov't. I do not believe either candidate truly understands freedom and liberty. I think that both of them believe that their plans for America are in our best interests at least according to their individual perceptions and paradigms. But both believe that the gov't can solve our problems.

Let's face it. Life is not fair. We don't chose where we were born or what we look like. But we can choose to be our own person. To be that individual. That free person.

America as we knew it or have come to know what it was meant to be is doomed. But what most of us fail to realize is that America is an idea and not a geographic location. When the jack boot comes down on our necks, do we kneel down and allow the chains to be welded on, or do we stand in defiance of Tyrrany?

As long as there is even a small spark of liberty held in the heart of even one person. The light of liberty will not die. It may be diminished, but with the proper fuel, a spark can ignite a conflagration.

To those out there who believe in freedom. Hold onto that spark. nurture it and help it to light the tinder of the fire of freedom in others. It is the only hope we have left.

Keep your powder dry...

And die with your boots on.

Die with your boots on....updated.

Ok...Yeah i know. I still use Gmail and Blogger.
Yes I now they are in the pocket of the .gov.

But I'm here to tell you, I am about sick of the propoganda I get every single day from the Obama campaign, sinply because I joined Google circles. I added politics to my interests and of course now I receive notices for "the white house" aka The obama campaign, about how the republicrits are outspending them and they need money. Can I just donate $3? well it was like that for about 2 months and now it's....can i donate at leasdt $5?

Honestly....no. Every single dollar I net is precious to me at this point. I'm not even going to go into the hardships I've been through since the "annointed one" took office.

I'm not even going to go into how I've seen multiple people close to me lose their jobs without any prosperity in site for them in the last 3 years. I think i don't have to.

I don't think Romney can save our country, but I can sure as hell anticipate that an Obama win is going to send us down the rabbit hole wayyyyy quicker.

As a country, we are spoiled brats. It's true. Ask anyone older than 40 and you'll get the same answer...unless they're card carrying members of the democrat/socialist/ communist party.
And at his point in history...they are all pretty much the same.

Sad but true. I still know registered democrats that are more "conservative" than most of the GOP leadership.

So what does this say about us as a country?

Well, for one, we've allowed then forces of evil to overtake us through our complacency. And No...I don't believe for a second that every registered democrat is evil. Just like I don't believe that every registered rebublican is evil.

However I will qualify this statemant with this:

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)

And that is what the majority of the "good Men/women" in this country have doen for uncounted years.

We are poised on a precipice now. I believe that we are about to make history here. What are our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren going to think of us? Are we going to perpetuate this travesty or will we right it? Are they going to be paying for our excessiveness or will we....or they curtail it? What will happen? I don't know. I'm not a prophet or a seer.

However I can tell you this, there is a large number of patriots in this country that are still willing to fighht and to die for what they percieve to be freedom. Some are right, some are not, but when roughly 50% of the population is just waiting for a war.....I think there may very well be one on the horizon. The question is...what side will you be on?

I'm not claiming a side...except to be on my side. I nkow alot of folks who will be on my side. And it has nothing to do with political persuasion.

So many of you don't think that such a thing can happen here. This is America, after all.

If you've never been to a third world country...or if you've never seen such a country in action, you have no rational basis to stand on. The world is not fair, and no amount of additional taxes levied on us by the great and all-powerful .gov will change this. We are already overextended as a country. The states need to declare and enforce their sovereignty. The US gov't is bloated and ineffectual. They cannot help the doers anymore. All theyseek to do is help they malingerers. At the expense of us.

It's gonna crash. It's just a matter of when.

In the meantime...

Keep your powder dry friends....

Die with your boots on....

Ok

I realize I haven't posted anythimg for quite some time...

And maybe i should post more frequently...but I am at a loss to really say anything meaningful.

I am disgusted with my government. I see corruption at every turn.

How is it that the attorney general can get away with being in contempt of congrewss and there's no shouts saying the guy is dirty? The MSM is givin this joker a free pass. absolutely disgusting.

I get regular emails from the white house telling me I need to donate money to Barak Obama and I'm wondering why I should send this joker any of my money, since I have so little.

Since the current Teleprompter in chief has taken office, I lost my job, worked for several months as a temp (with no benefits) and was lucky enough to land myself a full-tie position because of ny work ethic. I still only make about a third of what I made before, but somehow the econoy is iproving..... Yeah right.

I know people that are working for half or less their former wages in the same organization, because the alternative is "unemployment". I know of people that have worked at this organization for close to 20 years that are now making a pittance just to make sure their families are fed. The trend I see disturbs me.

Personally, I can say I've been screwed by the system, but I blame noone but myself for not seeing it coming.

I am a single white male....and even if I didn't blame myself, the government would anyway.
No big deal.

But when I see guys who have bled for this country and have busted their ass for this organization working from job to job as a temp after many years of honorable service, I have to ask myself, Why are they being punished for the mistakes of our "so-called leaders"?

We're constantly being told that the economy is iproving, and yet we see no evidence of this.

I may be painting a target on my back for saying this, and quite frankly, I no longer care. But we have been in a deep recession for quite sometime....and we're not coming out of it any time soon. I read recently that we're headed for another recession....

Another recession?! really?! We haven't even recovered yet!

I've endured a whole lot of loss in the last couple of years.....and I can tell you that the blinders have been lifted from my eyes.

We have been led to believe that we live in a free society....If this is true, explain to me how we have the highest incarceraction rate of any country in the world.

I also have to say....

What happened to Peace officers? Do they even exist anymore? We now have LEOs ( Law Enforcement Officers) Every alphabet organization has a SWAT team now. Along with all the bells and whistles. Tell me...why does the IRS need their own SWAT teams with weapons that civilians are not allowed to legally own.  Why does the FDA have a SWAT team? Why does the Social Security Administration have a SWAT team?

Why is it that every podunk township have a SWAT team? Does anyone actually know what SWAT stands for? What those letters actually mean?

SWAT: Special Weapons And Tactics.

Back in the 70's, when SWAT was young, they were a special Law enforcemant element that was used only in very special situations. Thes men were highly trained and very professional

In the last several years we've een the militarization of our law enforcement departments.

The problem is, we see untrained or undertrained personnel attempting to pass themselves off as legitamate SWAT teams Simply because they have the hardware.

Case in point: Jose Guerena.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, your a day late and a dollar short.

I'm composing this post in the wee hours of the morning, so initially I won't be linking any videos or supporting links for any of this.

However...I will be coming back to post thos links later for all you haters out there.

Good men have died protecting their families against the police state. Because the police are never wrong....even when they are.

We are quickly becoming a third world country. Corruption is the norm. Justice is seldom seen. And it's just getting worse.

I don't know hat the answr is. I used to think that we could change things via the ballot box...

I no longer believe that is the case.

All I can offer is advice:

Keep your powder dry friends...

And die with your boots on.

Loss...

Everyone deals with loss in their own way.

I've been dealing with loss for a long time.

From job, to house to people that meant the world to me.

A few hours ago, I learned my father has passed on. He left us quietly, he just stopped breathing while he was sleeping. I guess that was probab;y the best we could hope for since he's been suffering and in pain for the last 12 years.

Call me weak if you like, but I've just about killed a fifth o Jameson already.

I am my father's only son and I'm stuck 2000+ miles away. Still not sure if I can make it home for the funeral... I will probably get there, but it's still too soon to say for sure.

Back in May I lost a dear friend. Larry. Larry was probably the closest thing to an uncle I had here in AZ. He was my mentor and I was always learning from him. He died in an attempt to better his quality of life. Blod clots suck.

A few weeks ago, I lost my friend Randall. Randall was a tank commander in Desert storm. He survived a malfunction on his LT's .50 cal but lost some hearing and the vision in one eye. He was a damnad badass diesel mechanic and lot a finger working on heavy equipment. He was like a big brother to me and even though he was a recluse the last few years, when he did show up, it was always just like the old days. His son called me 2 weeks ago to let me know he'd died. He was alone when he died, up on Mt. Graham. An aneurysm supposedly. and supposedly he died quick with little pain. In a way, I am glad. At least he was where he was happy. I miss him. I miss him and Larry.

I havepictue on my FB page of myself and Larry with another good  man; Scotty Anderson. Scotty was in the last horse mounted cavalry unit in the US Army. He was rancher here in AZ. Scotty died a couple of years go. He held on longer than we thought he would. He was a good man.

I have to wonder...

Is there any justice in this world? Or do we have exact justice for ourselves. I spoke with Larry hours before the blood clot from his knee replacement hit his heart. they managed to bring him back from that, but the clot then moved up to his brain and caused a stroke... he died 3 days after I last talked to him. I suppose I can can be happy kowing I was one of the last people to speak with him before he became a vegetable. I don't think there's any way to to reconcile your feelings in these situations. time supposedly heals all wounds...we'll see how that works out.

Randall.
He was my boss for awhile. We became really close friends pretty quickly. He was a Tanker, I was a Scout.
Randall was agnostic. He always said "if the Christian God really exists, he's got alot to answer for."

I hope Randall is giving him hell right now.

Dad....

Dad has been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for 12 years. As a resukt of his cndition and the meds he's been taking he has had a heart attack (and survived), he's had non-hodgkins lymphoma, (had chemo and survived). and finally his body said it was done. He went unwillingly. He didn't want to die nd fought it tooth and nail the entire time. There was s much left undone.

There is no justice in this world. Good men have left us through no fault of their own. They weren't charging the line or doing anyhting you might expect of a warrior. But they were warriors all.

No matter your religious or spiritual leanings...

Their gods havecalled them home.

I hope to drink with them at Fiddler's Green when my time comes.

And when the apocalypse comes I hope I can stand by their side and fight the forces of evil.

I'm havin a hard time seeing the monitor right now...looks a little blurry...

In the meantime,

Keep your powder dry and die with your boots on.

Long overdue post...

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything…mostly because life happens but also because I’ve been at a loss for anything meaningful to say.

So many others are quick to cover anything happening in the world and I find myself mostly reading others observations/opinions, etc.

I recently spent a couple of weeks back east visiting friends and family, some which I haven’t seen in over a decade.  I also took the opportunity to revisit some of my old haunts. So much has changed in what seems to be so short a time. In reality, it’s been 15-20 years or more since I drove some of those old roads back there. A lot has changed, some good, some bad, some just…well just different.

I needed a breather. I’ve been spinning my wheels back here in AZ for several months and the break was well worth it. It’s helped me to refocus on things. Mainly where am I right now? And where am I going from here? Although on paper, I haven’t stopped working, I have been promoted only to be laid off, then picked up as a temp until finally landing the semi stable position I have now.  So although I haven’t actually stopped working…I make significantly less money than I did just a year and a half ago.  I’m not complaining mind you, just laying out the facts. The crisis that I have been in has been a learning experience for me, I wish it had not had such dire consequences, but then perhaps I may not have taken it as seriously, so I am thankful for having woken up to the illusion I was living in for the last several years.

I know the world isn’t fair. I take responsibility for my decisions and my lack of situational awareness.

I won’t make the same mistake again.

I got divorced, lost my wife and it took me a couple of years to realize, I was powerless to prevent it. Took me a while to realize that some things you can’t fix by yourself. I’ve lost a home I worked tooth and nail to keep for the last 8 years. I lost a dear pet and I wasn’t even there to comfort him while he died. That one still haunts me.

Despite all the hardship, I am grateful. I have good people that are there to help me out when I need it. These folks are more than friends, they’re family. And I am surrounded by them. I have a beautiful woman in my life that is a breath of fresh air for me. A really good woman that inspires me and is a positive influence on me. Something I desperately need.

Things are coming together. Slowly, but steadily. Having a solid plan is half the battle for sure. A little progress here and there. So far, so good.

I think perhaps I am ready to share my thoughts on the state of the union and the world in general.

I pay attention to politics, sometimes too much attention. I’ve come to the realization that the system is at a breaking point. I don’t think we’re going to recover. Politics has become mere theater. Most people have a pet cause or agenda and vote for whoever appeases them. The real power to enact change does not lie with the Tea Party or with OWS.

All of them “Useful Idiots”.

And I don’t mean that they’re stupid. Or that I’m any smarter than anyone else.

But taking off the blinders and seeing with clarity doesn’t make me smarter, just more observant.

With all the myriad levels of gov’t between us and the President of the US, how does anyone expect to effect any real change with the replacement of one man/woman. Change must start at the bottom and work its way up. Not the other way around. The top-down approach only works if you have a tyrant. And that’s not really the sort of change I’m looking for personally. Even if you believe in a benevolent monarchy…a monarch is still the master not the servant.

Somewhere along the line, the servant has become the master. Our “leaders” are now rulers. And they are dead set on consolidating that power at the highest levels. No matter the cost. I’m done with left vs. right politics. I don’t think it’s too much to ask the gov’t to mind its business and leave me the hell alone.

 What happened to personal responsibility?

If whatever I’m doing doesn’t harm another or infringe upon their rights…why is it illegal? Why is it necessary to have laws that “protect us from ourselves”? Why is it that our gov’t be it local, state or federal has to write a new law in response to some catastrophe or  tragedy? As if more laws help or change anything for the better.

I think the golden rule is probably the only real good law out there. (Is it even a written law?)

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.

Pretty simple and basic yes?

The war on drugs…the war on poverty…the war on terror…

Why?

Every crisis is one more reason for the gov’t to infringe on your  rights. What do we get for this?

More security? Nope. Simply the illusion of security and safety.

Since  this is Memorial Day weekend, I’ll leave you with this…

Remember our fallen servicemen/women.

Honor them by enjoying what little freedom we have left.

Spend time with your loved ones.

Enjoy it.

They’d want it that way.
