KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — A young Muslim couple tried to speed off when Malaysian police caught them making out in their car but got into an accident, causing a five-car pile up, a report said Wednesday.
This on Fox news....A young couple...not married mind you, get caught making out in the car. Here in the states it's commonly referred to as "parking". It's been a while since i indulged in the practice, but it carries a 2 month prison term if your caught in Malaysia, a Muslim government.
"Unmarried Muslim couples found alone together in a private place can be charged for "khalwat," or "close proximity," which is a crime under Malaysia's Islamic laws and carries a jail sentence of up to two months."
"Malay Muslims, who comprise about 60 percent of Malaysia's 27 million people, are subject to Islamic morality laws."
Yeah...no way in hell am I gonna let that sort of bullshit run this country without a fight.
It is kinda funny though...especially in light of the fact there were no casualties in the accident.

Oh, like the US laws are any better. Let�s say an 18 and 16 year old are out parking on a country lane. What can they be charged with? Public Indecency, Public Lewdness, Loitering, Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Statutory Rape, and Child Molestation. Granted all the US states have varying laws, but those last two can get the 18 year old a minimum of 10 YEARS in prison, as well as registration on the National Sex Offenders List. Yea Christian based laws!

I will never claim that our country is perfect, in fact we are far from it, but this was just too silly and when i thought about the actual circumstances I thought how much that would suck...as if we didn't have enough restrictions on us as it is...
Okay, Yes...we have some silly and ridiculous laws on our books. I agree with you there...but, and correct me if I'm wrong, I don't believe that unmarried adults I this country get jailed for making out in the car...
And yes, if you read the article, these were not minors...
